The Loft
Tucked within the farmhouse garden; The Loft is a self-contained retreat split over two levels. Upstairs, you’ll find a queen bed, living area, and kitchen with views of Judge & Jury and sunsets over Coronet Peak. Downstairs includes a mudroom, bathroom, and underfloor heating—ideal for winter stays with ski fields just 30 minutes away. Private parking and a separate entrance ensure comfort and seclusion.
The Cottage
Nestled in a rural alpine landscape; The Cottage offers sweeping views of mountains and rivers. With two bedrooms sleeping five, a full kitchen, and a log burner, it’s ideal for families or small groups. Bifold doors open to a BBQ area for alfresco dining, while armchairs invite you to unwind with a glass of pinot noir in front of the log burner on those colder nights. Warm bathroom and laundry facilities complete the experience.
The Farmhouse
The main farmhouse is a spacious, character-filled retreat with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for families or groups of up to eight guests. Available exclusively through direct booking, it offers privacy, comfort, and a personal touch. Guests can enjoy a roaring fire in winter and lush gardens in summer; all set against sweeping westerly views toward Coronet Peak. Warm, welcoming, and seasonally versatile, it’s the perfect base for a memorable Queenstown escape
Premium Pods
We will soon offer four premium Studio Pods, each thoughtfully designed to host up to four guests in comfort and style. These fully insulated, hand‑built micro‑dwellings are crafted to withstand the dramatic Southern Alps climate while providing a warm, inviting interior with a surprisingly generous sense of space.
Each pod will feature its own private deck, perfect for relaxed family time, morning coffees in the mountain air, or unwinding beneath a sky full of stars. Guests will also enjoy access to our wood‑fired hot tub, adding a touch of alpine luxury to every stay

The Village
Under new ownership since late 2025, Judge & Jury Village offers a secluded escape across 140 acres of high country. Guests can explore historic landmarks while enjoying panoramic views of Coronet Peak and the Nevis Bluff. Currently, Wiltshire sheep roam the hills, and we are planting fresh produce for a self-sustaining future.
Located in historic goldmining territory, we are just minutes from Arrowtown and Queenstown. It is the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and immerse yourself in local heritage. Big things are on the horizon. We are currently designing luxurious accommodation pods and building “Woody’s Woodshed.” Furthermore, unique wellness facilities and health treatments will follow soon.

Behind the Name
The property draws its name from the storied Judge & Jury rock formations. These landmarks are steeped in gold-rush heritage and define the landscape’s unique identity. Since the 1880s, the rocks have inspired local stories and shaped the character of the region. Their name perfectly reflects their appearance; a commanding schist outcrop stands as the ‘Judge,’ while a semicircle rock formation forms the seated ‘Jury.’
